Compressor Engineer – London
Job Description
£43,000 | 40 hours per week | Mobile Role
We are working with a well-established engineering services company that is looking to add an experienced Compressor Engineer to its London-based service team. This is a mobile role supporting commercial and industrial clients with the maintenance and repair of compressed air systems across the region.
Role Overview:
- Service, maintain, and repair a range of air compressors and associated equipment (e.g., dryers, filters, control systems)
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and respond to breakdowns across multiple customer sites
- Perform diagnostics and fault-finding on both mechanical and electrical systems
- Provide technical support and clear communication to clients
- Ensure accurate completion of service reports and adhere to company and site safety procedures
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience working on compressed air systems
- Knowledge of screw, piston, or vane compressors
- Strong mechanical and basic electrical fault-finding skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Self-motivated, reliable, and able to manage workload independently
