Forklift Engineer – Wiltshire
Job Description
£36,000 | 40 hours per week | Mobile Role
We’re supporting a well-regarded materials handling company in their search for a reliable and experienced Forklift Engineer to cover the Wiltshire region. This mobile role offers long-term stability, varied work, and a chance to be part of a growing and supportive service team.
Role Overview:
- Service, repair, and maintain a variety of forklift trucks and materials handling equipment (diesel, electric, and LPG)
- Respond to breakdowns, carry out diagnostics, and complete repairs efficiently
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on customer sites
- Accurately complete job reports and communicate with customers and the service team
- Uphold safety standards and represent the company professionally on-site
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience working on forklift trucks or similar plant/materials handling equipment
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Plant, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Self-motivated and able to manage a field-based workload independently
