Field Service Engineer – Water Reuse Systems
Location: UK-wide travel (with head office visits in the East Midlands)
Salary: £32,000–£34,000 + overtime + bonus + benefits
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role:

A growing leader in sustainable water solutions is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join its nationwide team. Specialising in rainwater harvesting, greywater recycling, and attenuation systems, the company provides installation and maintenance services across the UK.

You’ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing water reuse systems at commercial sites across the country, with regular overnight stays (up to 3 nights/week). This role suits someone hands-on, technically skilled, and customer-focused.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service and maintain rainwater/greywater systems
  • Diagnose faults and complete repairs
  • Install/replace pumps, filters, and control units
  • Provide technical support and build client relationships
  • Identify and report on potential upgrade opportunities
  • Complete visit reports and related admin
  • Follow all health and safety standards

Requirements:

Essential:

  • Level 3 electrical qualification
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willingness to travel and stay away from home regularly
  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills

Desirable:

  • Mechanical/electrical maintenance experience
  • Knowledge of water reuse or construction sectors
  • Field service or installation experience
