£40,000 | 40 hours per week | Mobile Role
Are you an experienced Forklift Engineer looking for a field-based position offering autonomy, variety, and long-term career prospects? Our client, a reputable and growing materials handling company, is seeking a skilled Mobile Forklift Engineer to support customers across Scotland.
Role Overview:
- Service, repair and maintain a variety of forklift trucks and materials handling equipment at customer sites
- Carry out routine maintenance, inspections, and fault diagnosis
- Respond to breakdowns and complete repairs efficiently and professionally
- Maintain accurate job records using company systems
- Deliver excellent customer service and uphold health and safety standards
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience working on forklift trucks or similar equipment (diesel, electric, and/or gas-powered)
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Plant, Forklift, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Able to work independently and manage your own workload
