Powered Access Engineer – Lancashire
Job Description
£40,000 | 40 hours per week | Mobile & Workshop Based
Are you an experienced Powered Access Engineer looking for a new role with variety, stability, and long-term opportunities? Our client, a well-established name in the powered access sector, is seeking a skilled engineer to join their team in a hybrid mobile and workshop-based position covering the Lancashire area.
Role Overview:
- Service, repair, and maintain a range of powered access equipment (e.g., cherry pickers, scissor lifts, boom lifts)
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs both on-site and in the workshop
- Ensure compliance with LOLER, PUWER and manufacturer standards
- Maintain accurate service records and liaise with customers on-site
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule (if applicable)
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience working on powered access machinery is essential
- CAP, IPAF, or LOLER certification desirable (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills – both mechanical and electrical
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to work independently and represent the company professionally on-site
